First Time In The History Of Ticketmaster That Seven Stadium Shows For One Artist Went On Sale In A Single Day
On march 1, demand for three originally announced dates (July 15, 17, 18)
was so great, two additional dates (July 21, 24) were added at 12 noon. Sales continued to be strong,
prompting an additional two dates to go on sale at 2:30 PM (July 26, 27). This marked the first time in
the history of Ticketmaster that seven stadium shows
for one artist went on sale in a single day.
The successful ticket sales expand on a remarkable February for Springsteen and the E Street Band, in which
Springsteen won three Grammy Awards for his latest album
The Rising, CBS Television aired Springsteen
and the E Street Band's first ever broadcast network special, and the band resumed its 2002-2003 world tour
with a performance in Atlanta, GA, area.
